Why David
Kings are formed in fields, not palaces.
The field
Nobody was watching when David learned to be brave. He was the youngest of eight, out with the sheep, learning to sing and to aim while his brothers did important things indoors. When the prophet came to anoint a king, no one thought to call him in from the field. Formation happens like that: quietly, daily, long before the moment that reveals it.
The heart
Samuel saw seven impressive brothers. God saw a heart. An education can aim at test scores and still miss the child. We aim at the heart first, because a child who loves God, loves truth and loves good work will catch everything else. Academics follow character. It does not work the other way around.
The stones
When his moment came, David did not reach for the king’s armor. He knelt at the brook for five smooth stones and reached for what the field had already taught him: how to use them. We give your child five stones to carry out of childhood. Everything we teach hangs on one of them.

Faith
The shepherd sang to God under open sky. Scripture memory, Bible reading and prayer as an ordinary part of the morning, until trusting God feels as natural as breathing.
Wisdom
Saul offered armor; David chose judgment. Proverbs, discernment, and the difference between being clever and being wise.
Courage
Goliath was not David’s first fight, only his first audience. A challenge each term that costs something: speak up, go first, finish the hard thing.
Leadership
He kept sheep before he kept a kingdom. Serving before directing, and a project each year that puts your child in front of other people.
Excellence
Skillful with the harp and true with the sling. Work worth signing, redone until it is right, then kept.
What we believe
We teach every subject as though God made it, because he did. Faith is not a class here. It is the reason the rest of the timetable makes sense.
Reading
Stories that train the affections, and the Book that outranks them all.
Mathematics
The order God wrote into creation, learned one honest page at a time.

His handiwork studied up close, with jars and mud and wonder.

Are you accredited?
No. We are a curriculum and support program, not a diploma-granting school, and for grades K through 6 accreditation carries very little practical weight. If that changes for your family’s plans, we will say so rather than sell you something.
Does my child need a login?
No, and they will never get one. The account is yours. Your children appear as names on your dashboard, nothing more. We hold no logins, no passwords and no email addresses for children.
How much of this is screen time?
Under thirty minutes a day in the early grades, all of it short video. The rest is paper, conversation and being read to.
Can I cancel?

Is this legal in my state?
Homeschooling is legal in all fifty states and the requirements differ. You remain the school of record, and our state requirements page explains the shape of it and where to check yours. In Texas, for example, the law expects a bona fide curriculum covering reading, spelling, grammar, mathematics and good citizenship. Ours is designed to cover all five.
Who sees my family’s data?
Nobody. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. There are no analytics trackers and no third-party video on any page your child sees, so nothing follows them around the internet afterward.
