You should not have to guess what your children will be taught. This is what we believe, in plain words, and it shapes every subject we write.
We believe
- The Bible is the Word of God. True, trustworthy, and the final authority for everything we teach.
- There is one God, who exists eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and who made all things.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will come again.
- Salvation is God’s gift. It cannot be earned. It is received by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.
- The Holy Spirit lives in those who belong to Christ, teaching them, convicting them, and shaping them to be like him.
- Every human being is made in the image of God and is of immeasurable worth.
- Sin is real. It separates us from God, and no amount of good behavior can bridge that distance. Only the cross can.
- Jesus is coming back, and those who trust him will live with God forever.
Where Christians differ
Faithful Christians disagree in good conscience on questions like baptism, church tradition and the order of last things. On those, we teach the essentials we share and leave the convictions where they belong: with you, your family and your church. Our job is to help you raise a child after God’s own heart, not to settle century-old family discussions at your kitchen table.
What this looks like in the curriculum
We teach every subject as though God made it, because he did. Scripture is memorized and read daily. Reading trains the affections toward what is true and lovely. Mathematics is the order God wrote into creation. Science studies his handiwork up close. History is providence in motion, told truthfully. Where scripture is quoted in our materials, we use translations suitable for family use, and the daily reading is done in the Bible your family already owns.
